First things first: I love to eat, and believe food is one of the great pleasures in life. As a South African used to life outdoors, I am also passionate about health, wellbeing and being able to fully enjoy all of life. After more than 12 years working in the financial industry in London and Zurich I retrained as a Nutritional Therapist and started my own practice in 2012. Since then, I have worked with a broad range of clients on a variety of health matters from basic to chronic. Additionally, I work with a number of international companies based in Switzerland on their Wellness at Work initiatives, holding workshops and giving presentations to employees on a range of nutrition and health related topics.

My goal is to improve your general wellbeing, or treat a specific issue long term, whilst enabling you to enjoy your food every day. My training enables me to take a multidisciplinary approach and tailor it to your individual needs. Areas of special interest include: gut health, mental health, skin disorders and metabolic balance® (supporting a healthy metabolism), however I offer a wide range of nutritional intervention on all other areas of health.

Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. It can help to alleviate a wide range of health conditions, and seeks to identify and address the potential underlying causes behind an individual’s symptoms. Each person is recognised as an individual, with unique nutritional requirements; a personalised nutrition and lifestyle programme is developed rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing. It is never recommended as a replacement for medical advice, and clients with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms are referred to their medical professional.

metabolic balance® is a nutritional programme for wellbeing and weight management. It has been developed by doctors and nutrition scientists. The foundation is your personal nutrition plan developed on the basis of your current blood data and health information. With the aid of this programme, you readjust your current daily eating habits and follow a dietary plan that fits your individual profile, which is healthy, completely balanced and tailored for you. This bespoke 4-stage programme has all the elements for you to succeed in resolving your personal weight issues permanently as well as integrating optimum health and well-being into your life.

Your individual nutrition plan balances your personal “body chemistry” with “food chemistry” which has been customised for you to achieve optimal metabolic balance. You will not only eat all the essential and vital nutrients found in fresh wholesome foods, your plan will also concentrate particularly on the nutrients, vitamins and minerals your body needs to re-balance your metabolism.

When would it be ideal for me to participate in the metabolic balance® programme? If your weight situation calls for a permanent solution and you want to finally lose/gain weight in a safe and healthy way. If you suffer from health problems due to excess weight and/or poor eating habits and have poor health conditions or illnesses such as: Type 2 diabetes, rheumatism, migraines, insulin resistance, high blood pressure, fatigue, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, allergies and skin disorders etc. and if you wish to have renewed energy and be fit and healthy, regardless of your age!
